Are you one of those dancers who hides in the back of the group during center combinations? Do you avoid going first during across-the-floor work? Are you afraid to make a mistake? Are you silent when the teacher asks if anyone has any questions? If so, you are not getting your money’s worth and missing out on the full benefit of your classes.
Enough with the trying to hide. Your dance experience is only as safe as YOU decide to make it. Get out there and dance FULL-ON and if you make a mistake, well then do it in grand style and own it – and don’t forget to smile! Not only will you improve more quickly, but you’ll enjoy yourself more and you’ll even be an encouragement to other dancers. Why not make it a goal for your next class to stand up front or go first? Give it a try and see the difference!
