On Being a Beginning Dance Student

I have the utmost respect for beginning dance students.  A beginner dancer is:

-willing try new things and try them in front of others

-open to the process of learning

-willing to take risks

-open to a new view of himself

-willing to test her limits

-open to success and failure

Pretty impressive list of admirable qualities, isn’t it?  Who wouldn’t want to spend time with these wonderful folks, these lovers of music and rhythm?  Yes, beginning dancers
are my kind of people!
