Come to the Studio Alone

Adult Dancers!  Do not bring the following with you to dance class:

A judge:  You are not on trial for the quality of your dancing.

A jury of your peers:  You are not facing a sentence for making a mistake in technique.

Your college professor:  You are not being graded for your performance in the classroom or on stage.

That disapproving relative: You do not owe them an explanation for your love of dance.

The critical friends:  …and you are friends with them because??

The pouty spouse:  You’re a better partner when you are fit and happy.

The younger you:  You know soooo much more than her, don’t you?
